Rules & Terms
• Projects submitted must be the original work of the participant, not ended before January 1-2018.
• All films in any different language from English must necessarily be subtitled in English. An exception will be admitted for films in Italian, which don’t need to be subtitled.
• By submitting the film to 2nd FRANCIGENA FILM FESTIVAL 2021 you confirm to own the rights of the film.
• Producers and/or author, if the short is selected for the final stage of the festival, must declare to be solely responsible for all rights regarding his work and must declare that the movie does not contain any third-party rights.
• Only finalist works will be played in a cinema hall in Colle di Val d’Elsa (Tuscany), during a public event.
• If accepted entrants grant without reservations, to the FRANCIGENA Film Festival, the right to use the movie, footage, stills and/or titles, and information from the Film for promotional purposes (in this case, an email will be sent to the author).
• The judgement of the jurors is unchallengeable.
• FRANCIGENA Film Festival will provide the best quality projection possible but will not be held liable for any failure in the technical quality of the projection, nor will fees be refunded in any such case.
• For the selected Authors who want to enjoy a long trip in Colle di Val d’Elsa, accommodation with special offer will be available.
• 2nd FRANCIGENAFILMFESTIVAL reserves the right to make any necessary changes, add, alter or delete any portion of the guidelines at anytime without notice to the final event.
The entry fee is fixed in 18 € each submission.
Rates for submission are not refundable.
• The festival management declare that any personal data provided will be used in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 as subsequently amended, and in accordance with art. 13 GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and will be processed exclusively for the purposes of the Festival.
• The participation at the Francigena Film Festival implies understanding and acceptance of above regulations.
